Once you are logged in (watch getting started video to see how), click on the "hamburger menu" in the top left-hand corner.
You will see this drop-down menu on the left-hand side. Scroll down and click on the "My Page" link.
You can also use the shortcut of clicking on your profile icon in the upper right- hand corner.
Click on "Your biography" to add a link and some info about yourself.
Click on the social media icons to connect them to your social media pages.
Now its time to start building your custom database of recipes. There are five tabs across the top of the page. The "Recipes" tab is where you will find all the recipes that you have personally added. You can add recipes manually using this menu item.
Or by collecting them from other websites using your bookmarklet (watch the training video).
Or by using our plugin (if you have a Wordpress website.Watch the training video)
Once you have a few recipes saved it is time to start organizing them. This is done under the "collections" tab. Collections is where all the good stuff happens! (Watch the training video).
Now that you are collecting recipes and organizing them into different collections you can customize what you see each day on your home page. This is done by following Chefs, Collections, and Hashtags.(Watch the training video). The tab called "River" shows you the feed that is going into your home page.
The tab called "Following" shows you who or what you are following.
The last tab "Explore" is a list of all the contributing chefs. If you ever want to check out some of the great chefs that have added recipes, you can find them here.
That is an overview of the "My Page" section.Jump in and start using it. You will find many unique and fun things that you can do to create your own custom experience.
