Using Collections

If you like Pinterest boards you will love My Recipe Magic collections.It is a great way to organize your recipes in a consistent format.Plus you can follow other users' collections that contain the type of recipes you want and build your feed to deliver all the new recipes that match what you like.

Here's a quick tutorial:

From your homepage, click on the menu in the top left-hand corner, then from the drop down menu click on "My Page".Or just click on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner.

Once you are on the "My Page" screen click on the collectionstab.

You will see all of your collections displayed.If you don't have any collections or you want to add new ones, click on the "EDIT" button located in the top right-hand corner.

Then click on the "ADD" link

Type in the title you want, choose "public" in the status column, then click on the pencil icon.

This gives you a field to place a thumbnail picture for your collection.Find a picture that you like then copy and paste the image URL in that field.Click done, then scroll to the top of the page and click on "SAVE".

You now have a new collection that you can add as many recipes as you want to.There are two main ways to add recipes to a collection.First, you can add any recipe found on my recipe magic by clicking on the "collect" button located in the bottom right-hand corner of any thumbnail.

Or at the bottom of any recipe that you have opened.

When you click on the "collect" button a window opens that gives you a list the collections you have created.Click the box next to the collection you want to place this recipe in.If this recipe doesn't fit with any of your collections, you can create a new one by clicking on the "create collection" link at the bottom of the window.
